Spirit Nights: Easy, No-Stress PTA Fundraising ideas that will not burn out volunteers.
Spirit nights are one of the simplest ways to raise money for your PTA or PTO without adding too much of a workload.
I personally did not know about these fundraisers and boy was I happily surprised!
Your school can plan a spirit night with a bowling alley or roller skating rink or even an ice cream shop near your school.
Families, students and teachers can visit these establishments and mention the pta and they will kick back some of the earrnings back to the PTA.
I had no idea how simple and how much it can earn your PTA or PTO. You know all of your earnings goes bak into the school and every penny counts. So to be able to do fundraisers that are easy no stress events help a lot!
Here are some of the easiest spirit night ideas for you and your team. I hope it helps you as much as it helped our team.
Trampoline Park Spirit Night
A trampoline park spirit night is a fun family night where kids can jump, play and burn energy. Your PTA earns a percentage of ticket sales without running a full event.
The park handles the check-in, wrist bands and safety, so volunteers barely do anything but show up and show their support and meet families.

Restaurant Spirit Nights
Restaurant nights are the easiest fundraisers, they require zero volunteers. Families visit the restaurant order to eat in or take out and mention the school PTA.
Your PTA earns a small percentage and families from school meet at the restaurant and have a quick bite with friends or they take home their dinner and help support the school. It’s a win-win!
There are a lot of popular options, check in your local area what restaurants would host a spirit night for your school. Most restaurants give back 15-30%, what I researched on line but contact your local eateries yourself ahead of time to get more accurate information.
As our school adds more spirit nights I will update this post with more restaurant information, but this can vary stat to state as well.

Ice Cream Shop Spirit Night
Ice cream nights are perfect for spring or end of year celebrations. Kids love them, parents love them, and turn out is usually strong.
These events are fun, easy and stress free.

Bowling Alley Spirit Night
Bowling nights feel like a big event but require almost no planning. Families rent lanes, order tood, and enjoy a night out.
Your PTA earns a percentage of lane rentals or food sales. Its a great option for winter when outdoor ecents are harder.

Arcade or Family Fun Center Night
Arcade nights bring in higher earnings because families stay longer and spend more.
Places like Main Event, Dave & Busters and local arcades often have school fundraiser programs.
These events are especcially popular with older kids and siblings.

Dessert Shop Spirit Night
Cupcake shops, donut shops and bakeries love partnering with schools. These nights are simple, sweet and easy to promote.
Shops often donate a percentage of sales to offer a special flavor for the night.
Reach out to your local bakeries and see what they can do to support your schools spirirt night.

I hope this helps you and your team with ideas that can easily be added to your pta events calendar without too much workload.
The point of our PTA is to keep it light and do good for our school, without a lof of volunteers, we can be very limited on what we spend our time on planning so these quick wins help fundraise for us!
I hope it helps you too!
Please drop a comment if you have any ideas to share and if any worked for your pta!
See you in the next one!
